What Were the Original Arc'teryx Backpacks?

The earliest Arc'teryx packs focused on mountaineering and trekking. The Bora series was the backbone of the lineup for over a decade, with thermoformed suspension systems and kangaroo pockets that set them apart from competitors. The Naos family followed with the GridLock shoulder adjustment and the Load Transfer Disc system. All models below are discontinued.

The climbing pack lineup splits between the Alpha series for alpine routes and the Konseal series for cragging. Alpha packs use Hadron LCP fabric, a liquid-crystal-polymer grid that delivers abrasion resistance at a fraction of the weight. The Konseal family runs a more rectangular, top-loading design built around simplicity.
